The most consistent wave in West Sumbawa, when everywhere else is small this place will be working. Scores waves in both seasons. This spot has two waves, The Hook and The Wedge. The Hook is a right which peaks 400m from the northern cliff, holds up to 6ft and is fast, hollow and is surfed on every tide but dead low. The Wedge is located right up against the cliff and handles six to eight feet of swell before closing out. It consists of a shifty and mushy outside peak that winds into a fast and bowling inside section. Strong trade winds in the dry can blow it out, so early mornings and afternoon sessions are best.
